One chess puzzle a day until Opening Day (Sat 24 Oct, 14:00 UTC). Every correct answer adds $1 to the Opening Pot, up to $500.
The pot is split by Quick Play wins in Opening Week. Nobody is paid for answering, and no deposit is needed to take part.
How it works
- A new puzzle opens every day at 13:00 UTC, Mon 12 Oct to Fri 23 Oct. Each one stays open until the next one opens.
- Send the first move with your email. One answer per person per puzzle, and your first answer is final.
- A correct answer from a confirmed email adds $1 to the Opening Pot, up to $500. The pot is shared by Quick Play wins in Opening Week, 24 Oct to 1 Nov.
