Welcome to ChessBit. These Terms govern your access to and use of the ChessBit site and Early Access Waitlist. By accessing the Site or joining the Waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

ChessBit is developing a skill-based real-money chess competition platform. The Site provides information, preview materials, and Waitlist registration. No real-money gameplay or wagering is available on this Site.
Eligibility
- 18 years of age or older
- Legal capacity to enter agreements
- Not in a jurisdiction where participation is unlawful
By joining the Waitlist, you confirm you are at least 18.
Nature of the Service
The Waitlist allows users to register interest in gaining early access. Joining does not guarantee access, create an account, or create a contract for services. ChessBit may accept, decline, or remove users at its discretion.
Not a gambling service: no chess matches, real-money gameplay, betting/wagering, deposits, or withdrawals on this Site. The Waitlist is informational and promotional only.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, truthful information
- Do not bypass, overload, or interfere with the Site
- No bots/automation/scripts
- Do not misuse invite links or exploit capacity limits
- Do not create multiple entries with different emails/devices
- Use only your own email for verification
Anti-Bot & Abuse Prevention
We apply Cloudflare Turnstile, IP hashing, rate limiting, resend cooldowns, and other anti-abuse systems. We may block or remove users flagged as abusive or automated.
Email Verification
- Verification tokens expire after 48 hours
- Resend attempts may be limited and cooldowns apply
- Abuse may disable resends
- Unverified entries may be removed
Marketing Communication
If you opt in, we may send early access updates, announcements, and promotional information. You may withdraw consent at any time; you will still receive necessary transactional emails.
Third-Party Services
- Vercel — hosting the Site
- Render — backend API
- MongoDB Atlas — database storage
- Cloudflare — security, DNS, Turnstile
- Mailtrap — transactional email delivery
Use of the Site may involve data transfers processed by these providers.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site is owned by ChessBit S.A. or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, sell, redistribute, or create derivative works unless explicitly permitted in writing.
Invite Links
Invite links may have limited capacity and may be disabled at any time. Misuse may result in removal. Usage may be tracked for analytics and anti-abuse detection.
Disclaimers
The Site is offered “as is” and “as available.” No warranties regarding early access, accuracy, uptime, or freedom from errors/security vulnerabilities. ChessBit is a skill-based platform, not gambling; future access will have separate terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessBit S.A. is not liable for loss of data, email delivery issues, service interruptions, revoked invitations, security breaches beyond reasonable control, or indirect/incidental/consequential damages. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.
Termination
ChessBit may suspend or terminate Waitlist positions or Site access for violations or suspicious behavior and may discontinue the Waitlist at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Panama City, Panama.
Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
