How to Make Your First Deposit in 5 Minutes

The quickest route to a funded ChessBit balance: Level 1, the right coin for a small deposit, and the network check that keeps it safe.

If you already hold crypto on an exchange or in a wallet, your first deposit takes about five minutes. If you don't, add the time an exchange needs to open your account and check your ID. That part is usually the slowest.

What You Need

  • A ChessBit account with Level 1 approved: the short personal-details form, no documents.
  • At least $5 in a supported coin. $5 is the minimum deposit, and the network fee comes out of what you send, so send a little more.
  • An exchange account or wallet that can send that coin to an outside address.

Pick a Coin That Suits a Small Deposit

For a first deposit of a few dollars, choose a coin with a small network fee that arrives quickly:

CoinNetworkTypical wait
SOLSolana~1 minute
TRXTron~1 minute
LTCLitecoin~10 minutes

USDT and USDC are accepted on Ethereum only, and an Ethereum network fee can take a large share of a small deposit. Every coin and network we accept is listed in Supported coins & networks.

The Five Steps

  1. Finish Level 1. Open Profile → Verification and fill in your name, date of birth, address and occupation. It's usually approved in moments. Until it is, the Deposit page shows no addresses.
  2. Copy your deposit address. Press the green Wallet button in the top bar, then Deposit → Crypto Transfer. Choose SOL, TRX or LTC and press Copy … address.
  3. Get the coin if you don't have it. On an exchange that serves your country, buy a little more than $5 of the same coin with your local currency.
  4. Send it. On the exchange or wallet, choose Send or Withdraw for that coin, paste your ChessBit address and check the network: Solana for SOL, Tron for TRX, Litecoin for LTC. No memo or tag is needed.
  5. Wait for the notification. We tell you when the deposit is detected on-chain and again when it's credited to your balance.

The coin and the network must both match what ChessBit shows. A transfer on the wrong network, or a token we don't accept (USDT or USDC on any network other than Ethereum, or any token on Solana), can't be credited and is usually lost.

Once It's Credited

  • Your deposit stays in the coin you sent. Nothing is converted, and the live USD value is shown next to it.
  • Stakes start at $1, so a first deposit of a few dollars covers several games.

If Something Goes Wrong

ChessBit is skill-based chess for players 18 and over, and it isn't available where prohibited. You can lose what you stake, so deposit only what you're comfortable playing with.
