Three Ways to Sign Up
Email + password — the classic route.
Email code — passwordless: we email you a one-time code each login.
Crypto wallet — sign a message with your wallet to prove you own it. No password at all.
You do not need a crypto wallet to create an account — email works fine, and you can add funds later.
What You'll Be Asked
A username — 6–16 characters; letters, numbers, underscores, dots and hyphens. We propose a chess-themed one you can keep or replace.
Your date of birth — ChessBit is strictly 18+; under-18 signups are refused.
Acceptance of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Fair Play Policy and Responsible Gaming Policy.

Availability depends on where you are — some countries require an extra acknowledgment step and some are not served. See Where ChessBit is available.
One Person, One Account
Each person may hold one ChessBit account. Buying, selling, sharing or running multiple accounts breaks the Fair Play Policy and puts every linked account at risk.
After You Register
Look around freely — the lobby, leaderboards and your profile are open.
Playing for money starts at Level 1 verification (a short form, no documents) — see Verification levels.
Optional but recommended: enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in account settings and store the recovery codes safely.
ChessBit staff will never ask for your password, seed phrase or 2FA codes — anyone who does is a scammer.
