Email login code: enter your email and press Send Login Code. We email you a one-time code; enter it to continue. ChessBit doesn't use passwords; you'll get a fresh code each time you log in.
Crypto wallet: connect a wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom, Trust Wallet or Rabby) and sign a message to prove it's yours. Signing costs nothing and moves no funds.
You don't need a crypto wallet to create an account. Email works fine, and you can deposit later.
What You'll Be Asked
A few quick rules: confirm you're 18 or over and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (together with the Fair Play and Responsible Gaming policies they include).
Pick your handle: a username of 6–16 characters (letters, numbers, underscores, dots and hyphens). We suggest a chess-themed one you can keep or replace.
Affiliate code (optional): if a friend or creator referred you, enter their code here. It can only be added within 24 hours of signing up. See the referral program.

One Person, One Account
Each person may hold one ChessBit account. Buying, selling, sharing or running multiple accounts breaks the Fair Play Policy and puts every linked account at risk.
After You Register
Set your level. Tell us your chess strength (from New to chess to Expert / titled), or link a Lichess or Chess.com account. This is required before your first staked game.
Complete Level 1 verification, a short form with no documents, to deposit and play for money. See Verification levels.
